Ok, so I’m getting ready to move back to a house that my family owns, and I NEED a new floor. I currently have carpet and absolutely hate it. It’s light beige, so it attracts dirt and crumbs like a magnet. Whenever people come-over and walk on it for a brief period of time, I feel like I have to vacuum it to get all the little spots and dirt out. So I want to get rid of it and get something hard.
I am looking for suggestions on what the absolute cheapest floor is. I’m looking for simple black, so wood, laminate, lino, but not tile. I’m on the second floor, and have a plank-wood base, so it has to sit on top of that too. What would be everyone’s suggestions? I’m looking for 70ยข and below per sf.
Linolium or self stick tiles would be your cheapest all around.
