I have a cleaning lady come in twice a week to clean my house. She has been coming in for a few weeks now but I want to tip her this Christmas season.
She spends about 4 hours per visit cleaning. dusting, laundry, vacuuming.
how much should I tip?

This can vary depending on where you live. I think the tip would be higher in NY- where people depend on Christmas bonuses. In lots of other places, you don’t get anything like that.
If she’s doing a great job, and coming regularly, and you really want to keep her- $500 would be great.
The equivalent of what you pay her in one or two weeks would also be good.
100 is fine
$500 is very generous,. 50 or 100 would be fine.
