This Miele Stainless Steel Telescopic Wand is very convenient with its large latch release pads and adjustable height to match your stature. The stainless steel construction keeps it working smoothly for years to come, even in high humitity areas. Unfortunately, this wand will not mate with hoses that are used with the Miele SET 210 Direct Connect Electric Wand nor the SET 210 Wand itself due to the recepticals on them. If you want to extend the reach of the SET 210 Electric Telescopic Wand, use the Miele Stainless Steel Wand with Latch instead of this one.

Miele non powered wand,
I had the original power wand, but I don’t have any carpet. After a few years, the cord got stuck in the adjustable power wand and became unusable. I found this unit here and have been using it ever since.
I have had it for a while now. I use the vacuum at least twice per week, and I adjust the length constantly. The wand has never failed to extend or retract as needed and it is lighter than the power wand. If you must use the power head, you need a power wand and will have to pay the high price for that, but if you just have wood and tile floors like me, you can replace the power wand with this non powered wand without any trouble, and it is lighter too.
