  1. i own a pool company.check the pressure on your pressure tank.if too high back wash filter.if it it is the line itself get a water jet bag at pool store and screw this on to the end of your garden hose.insert that into skimmer.remove skimmer basket and put into hole in bottom of skimmer box.turn water on full force with pump running this should force clog out

  2. its either clogged or the belt is broke;turn it on its side and turn it on if the bristles are turning the belt is not broke you just have a clog;I go through this a lot some vaccums are of poor engineering;built crappy;youll have to take a few screws out to get to the source of the clog so unplug and good luck

  3. the filter could be blocked or there could be something stuck in the vacuum hose you can check
these first if its the filter remove it and wash it then let it dry before putting it back in’ some vacuum
cleaners have 2 filters one on the inside and one on the outside it could be either or both look through the vacuum hose and where it connects to the vacuum body as sometimes it can get blocked here if that fails it could be that its leaking air at some point either the vacuum hose or
the vacuum body housing itself. also depending on the make and model it could be the fan
blade that’s attached to the motor it might have come lose if so you or someone else will have to
open it up and tighten it’ if its a canister type then check all the seals to see if they need replacing’ you dont mention the make and model. but be car-full when working with electric if your not sure its best to leave
it alone as it can be dangerous. good luck.

  4. Considering as how there are about 500 different types, brands and models of vacuums on the market currently, not counting all the models that are obsolete, would it be possible for you to at least post what brand and model this is? If it’s an upright and fairly recent, there will most likely be a hose of some sort coming from the nozzle area, (where the brush roll is), up to the bag area, (if it has a bag), and odds are that hose is plugged with heaven only knows what. You’ll need to figure out how it comes off, and be careful when removing it, because you’re going to have to put it back on so that it stays on once you’ve removed the clog. If it’s bagless, there will be some sort of plastic dirt channel leading to somewhere on the side of the dirt cup which will be the same as the hose, probably plugged, however, you probably won’t be able to take it loose, so you’ll have to make a hook from an old wire hanger and try to remove the clog with that. Also, if it’s bagless, there will be several filters which must be cleaned frequently, as they can cut suction to nearly nothing when they get really dirty. If this is a cannister model, same thing probably, either the power head is clogged or the hose leading to it is clogged. Finally, and probably the most obvious of all the problems, if it has a brush roll, there’s a good possibility that the belt is broken and the brush is simply not turning to pick up the litter off the carpet. That sometimes looks like the vac is not sucking because it’s not picking up. Check that as well.
