    When I bought my Miele Titan, I didn’t like the powerhead that came with it. The vac shop I bought it from let me exchange just the powerhead – and only pay the difference.

    This adjusts to 5 different levels – does a great job on high pile carpets and low pile rugs. It is a bit heavy – great on the carpets for digging in – I don’t think I would use it in anything but a pinch for hard floors. I have hand scraped wood – it is bumpy – so kinda weird to use anything but a barefloor brush. But, the wheels on this are nice are large and rubber coated – so it won’t scratch. The swivel head is just pure genius. I can’t imagine going back – hard to describe – but once you try it, you’ll think that’s how it always should have been.

    It auto stops if you pick up a sock or something so it won’t break a belt. It uses a geared belt that I think is supposed to last a ridiculously long time. Pretty quiet – at least compared to the powerbrush on my old kenmore canister vac.

    This is made in Germany – and it looks very very similar to the top rated Wessel Werk EBK360 (Central Vacuum powerhead). Miele and Wessel Werk must have worked together on this great attachment. (Wessel Werk also has a reputation for top-notch quality).

    Would not have kept my Miele model if I had not purchased this upgraded powerbrush. This brush is for houses, while the original must be meant for apartment living. The width and muscle of this brush are perfect for my thick nylon plush carpet. One of the best features of this brush is the “parking” lock for keeping the wand upright: the original powerbrush has no such lock so the wand fell over constantly!

    Wow such power. I bought this as replacement for my Miele power nozzle. It has real German quality, and really powerful. I use it on really thick carpets and it really cleans. This is much better than the power nozzle that my machine came with. It is worth every penny
