I don’t want anything super expensive. I have some carpet and some wood floor that gets covered in pet hair. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good vacuum cleaner for this?

I work for a company that sells hypoallergenic vacuums. It’s called the Garry Vacuum — they have infomercials and stuff. It’s much like the Dyson (similar features, high suction, etc.), but it’s considerably cheaper. It specializes in pet hair.
The Dyson Animal is the best for removing pet hairs I have two of them an upright and a hand held one for the furniture etc.You can also get all sorts of extras for them .
OM Goodness! The Dyson! My daughter has a beautiful Pekingese with a fantastic coat and tail that sheds like crazy! After going through I do not know how many vacumns (at least 5) she finally bit the bullet and spent the money on the Dyson and hooray! It has great suction and manuvers around wonderfully and picks up the dog hair!!! Must remember though you really do have to vacumn every day regardless. Especially if you have dogs that shed. This vac just works great/ effortless, saves you time ( which everyone can always use more of!) and you do not have to change bags! Hope this helps! Good Luck!
