  1. Yes, it is safe don’t over do it and don’t use chemicals it may corrode something. But vinegar is safe I would say three tablespoons for the container of water.

  2. I would refer to your owners manual.

The thing is Vinegar might hurt the vacuum cleaner and I don’t think it will cut the smell of Dog Urine.

I would go to the Pet store and purchase some cleaner for Dog Urine It will be under Stain and Oder removal.

  3. I wouldnt put it in the water basin…i usually put it in a small water bottle fill it 3/4 of the way with water and then 1/4 part vinegar. Put it on spray (stream will get it to wet) then use your Rainbow vacuum as you normally would. Baking soda also gets the smell out.

  4. I use the rainbow vacuum cleaner too! I think it was a rip-off, i bought mine for $500-$600 don’t remember. Anyways, I think it is to put in a tea-table spoon full. No more. UNLESS it specifically says not to put anything. Rainbow does make some good liquids to add to the water that smell amazingly good.

  5. Definitely. If you use liquid Oregano, a couple of drops, this is a natural way to help with the smell and will also make it fungul resistant.

  6. Uh ya it’s fine if water goes in it vinigar will only help clean it, my mom actually use to have a rainbow for years and it will be perfectly fine, just like cleaning a coffie pot.
