How do i redecorate my bedroom?

I am 25, and am naturally a VERY stressed out person, and strive for simplicity, and a breezy & content lifestyle. I would love to redo my bedroom that reflects this. I was thinking of stripping my room clean, and only adding the essentials & few comforts. But i’m in need of colour schemes and other suggestions.
SORRY FORGOT TO MENTION I’M A GIRL LOL.

  1. Try decorating your room with red and browns for a calm feel or with blues and whites for an ocean feel. If you deside to have an ocean themed room, you can decorate your room seashells and seaglass.

  2. When you think of minimalism you can’t go past white.
White is calming and spacious however you may want to add some colour with soft sea blues and greens.

The advantage of white is that if you get bored you can always add some really bold colours like red or a deep purple.

Other things to consider are fabrics, I would go for sheer, silky or very fine cotton curtains and linen. You could also do a canopy above your bed to add a touch of luxury.

Lighting depends on what you use the room for (besides sleeping) and how much natural light you get in there but have a play around with different levels of lighting E.g beside, standing lamps, overhead lighting.

The rest is all pretty easy like you said just use the stuff you really love/use/need to add the finishing touches the only other thing would be maybe a small simple vase with nice fresh flowers, which is always a nice thing to have in any room.

    Good luck 🙂

  3. well, you can go with baby blue, whether you are a girl or a guy. it cleans and relax our body.
other colors of walls that are relaxing are, lime green, white, light green, peach, beige,

you can make your furniture white or dark brown.and also put a big window into your room, with a good view and fresh air that enters it.

and friendly advice, because your always stressed, take yoga lessons. good luck 🙂

  4. for color schemes, go with a sky blue, cream, and brown theme. Heres how I would do it:

get a blue and white bed quilt with seashells on it
get the bed a modern, cream colored frame
Above the bed, put a decorative mirror with a cream frame
have a brown nightstand with a cream lamp. Glue shells to the lamp shade
have a brown dresser (when I describe furniture as brown, I mean dark wood)
for the mirror on the dresser have another cream mirror but not the same as the one above your bed
Put a cream bookshelf in the corner with sea shell paper weight things
delicate white curtains, but not with lace
if you have a closet, instead of a door mount a cream curtain with a brown sea shell pattern
have an extremely soft, white fluffy rug covering the entire floor
above your bed, hang a seashell mobile/windchime thing that lights up is possible
Try not to put too much other furniture in your room because the cream rug will create a feeling of spaciousness which is key to relaxation.
    when you are done:
    put on your pj’s
spread out on your extremely fluffy/soft cream rug
wonder why you didn’t think of this before
