  1. If he had a vacuum with a clear canister he wouldn’t need to waste his time like that.
I figure if I painted my canister black I’d have to vacuum more, but not like that.

    1. find which way stands the pile up, or loops, when you pull the vacuum back
    2. move the vac at half that speed knowing that the power stroke is forward, not back
    3. Overlap the pass 50%
    4. If you really think its soiled, vacuum at 90 degrees, always trying to stand the pile.
You’ll pick up more soil, maximizing your time

  2. I just read this guys “qualifications” Sorry, but I’m laughing!!
He “sold” vacuums and that makes him an expert!!!???
    Sorry, laughing more.

Try USING a vacuum for 15yrs professionally.

  3. one solution that I used was to toss the carpets and refinished the oak hardwood floors. did myself with rental sander @ $50 per room for all costs. what the F was the moron thinking that installed carpets over the oak floors! dusk mop in seconds without the noise!

  4. It’s funny vicious circle, people put down carpet to save the cost of refinishing and upkeeping wood floors then someone pulls it up and can’t believe someone would cover such beautiful wood up. Later the wood gets fugly, time carpet. Next guy comes along…
