You can put this vacuum together with ease. This is a great vacuum for my house, as I use it on the floors and the carpet. It sweeps up my Dog hairs very well. The three different speed power is very helpful and the one touch release of the trash is very useful, as I just take it to my trash can and press the button to release the trash from the Vacuum.

Bought this machine after years of fine service from my old Shark because I liked the fact that the dump thing worked easier (and it is SO much easier). Also I was having a time finding replacement batteries for a reasonable price. What I did do and that’s the reason for one star being subtracted is that the company continues to include an inadequate battery. NiCd batteries are a hold over from a time gone by. Who wants to wait till the thing doesn’t work to recharge it. I bought a NiMh (no memory) battery that I can charge anytime I want. I figure that I paid an extra $25.00 for what works for me. One of the reviews mentioned the weak swivel connection for the handle so I’ll be careful. This machine is much better.
