A good vacuum cleaner that keeps dirt inside?

I have a yellow Eureka that I have bought. Apparently this cleaner, instead of sucking it in and keeping there, it’s spitting dirt and dust from the back. It doesn’t filter everything it sucks. It’s plain ridiculous. I don’t understand why they don’t seal it prefectly to beging with. This one is going to trash, i’d say stay away from Eureka. What’s the best vacuum cleaner under 100 dollars, that actually keeps the dirt INSIDE!!!!????
It’s a bag less vacuum cleaner

  1. If it is spitting dirt you have to check to see that something is not clogging the lie that lets the dirt into the suction part; It should not be doing this
We used Eureka vacs for years in our cleaning business, and when it spit dirt and dust it was either the suction or a stuck belt.
    check it out.

  2. My mom had a Hoover for 30 years. There is no possible way to trap all the dust that will fly out. Just do the best you can, buy one with a Hepa filiter to help. This time I splurged and bought a Kirby, I had a dyson and when the man came in my house less than one mintue after I vaccumed I seen all that crap that came out of my carpet, I was disgusted. Plus it comes with a carpet shampooer and all kinds of nifty little things. The big problem is that it still uses bags, its pretty heavy if you have stairs (i don’t) It does have Tech Drive so it pushes its self, my one year old can push it. If you go cheap you’ll get crap, save up a little more. We have our Kirby on a payment plan, its 81 dollars a month for a year. My grandmother has a rainbow, and those things are really expensive but they work well. It uses water to trap the dust, no filters. I think its a neat idea, we just can’t afford that.

  3. Well… first off, you can’t "seal" a vacuum cleaner. It would blow up like a balloon if you did. If you’re having a problem with finer dust leaking out, you may not have the vacuum bag on securely enough. Or you may just have a cheap vacuum bag that doesn’t filter well.

If you’re intent on purchasing a new one, for the love of god, don’t go cheap. Cheap vacuums are worthless (believe me, I’ve gone thorough enough "bargains" myself). Save yourself the headache and pay a little extra. If dust really gets to you, or if you have pets, you might want to look at ones that have a built-in hepa filter.

My current vacuum is a Hoover Windtunnel, and it’s probably the best one I’ve ever had, though it’s a little on the heavy side.

  4. Hoover. I agree that Eureka is junk, so isn’t Bissell. (my opinion)
I’ve owned the same Hoover for over 17 years and it still works as good as new. I wouldn’t buy any other brand.
