2Starz need help to clarify doubt about: : Aren’t you supposed to submerge your Dyson Animal Vacuum Clnr Filter in water every 6 months?

I sold Dyson’s for 3 years at Sears. They tell you to wash them in warm water. I wouldnt submerge it in water though. You may end up messing the fibers up.

  1. Just rinse the filter under warm tap water from a faucet. Don’t need to submerge it.

    As far as tips, don’t use soap. And also make sure you leave it for at least 24 hours so it can dry. They (Dyson) recommends placing it in the sun to dry. I usually put mine on the railing of my front porch for an entire afternoon, then bring it inside and put it on top of my dryer to allow it to finish drying.
