  1. I use a vacuum cleaner all the time on my laminate flooring. Just use the setting for "hard floors" and it does a brushless vacuuming. You could probably use the hose attachment if your cleaner does not have the "hard floors" setting.

  2. The instuction for my laminate said not to use the vacuuum cleaner on the laminate because over times the brushes can cause damage. Thus, I use the hose attachemnt and vacuum with it.

  3. I did use a swiffer vac that was really great, but I hated that I couldn’t replace the stupid battery when it died. I’ve been using a regular vacuum with a bare floor attachment every day for the past three years (ZERO damage) and I really don’t see how the brushes on a vacuum could cause you any concern because they are designed for flooring, specifically WOOD and vinyl flooring which I think is more easily scratched. I also have a 70 pound dog with some serious nails and I have absolutely NO damage from him either.

The only thing that I think could cause damage to laminate flooring are people or kids running in and out of the house with soil or small bits of gravel on the bottoms of their shoes which would act like super gritty sandpaper on the floor.

I consider my laminte flooring "bulletproof!
