Breakers trip because too many things are plugged in to them (drawing too much current). The vacuum label should list the current or power (current = power/ 120…the voltage). the breaker has a number on the lever indicating maximum current.
The vacuum cleaner plus everything else on the circuit is exceeding the breakers current rating. Heating devices use the most current. This cleaner may draw a little more than the last, or you have added something else to the circuit.
Most likely the motor is overloading. Might be stuck or clogged, causing an overload, but more likely the vacuum cleaner is worn out. Probably time to get a new one or if it’s under warenteed, take it back to retailer. One other possibility is the circuit breaker is going bad or it’s a GFI breaker which sometimes trip, but I doubt that the breaker is the problem.
Newer one requires more power.Turn every thing else off on that curcuit until your done vacuuming and should be okay.Maybe that breaker is getting weak,if when you flip it back on and it seems spongie,it needs replacing.
Overloading the circuit maybe. The new one could be sucking more electricity than the old one.
its a higher power vacuum and theres alot of load on that circuit, plug it somewhere where less apliances are plugged in…. try another bbedroom…
There might be a short circuit in the appliance, I would get it checked if I were you. It should be under warranty.
