Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What’s this?)

Customer Video Review Length:: 6:45 Mins

There is a time/size limit for video reviews so I couldn’t show as much as I wanted to. Hopefully, I can cover everything I want between the written and video review.

I have the Hoover Linx BH50010 so I can do a little comparison to that one. If you don’t care about the handheld vacuum part and want the better Stick Vacuum – then the Linx wins hands down. It has more power, smoother operation, battery lasts a little longer, has better pickup, easier and cleaner to empty the waste canister. It’s also has a better quality feel to it where the Air Cordless feels more plasticky and cheap. Where the Air Cordless wins is in Versatility. The 2 attachments for the handheld piece really make this product a winner for versatility. If you want something that will give you 15 mins to quickly vacuum your hard floors, then carpet, then clean the upholstery and get in the cracks – this is the product to choose. Where its performance is lacking on vacuuming the floors, it makes up for with the versatile handheld piece. The Crevice and Upholstery attachments are very useful and work very well. They go on easily. There is a little holster for the Crevice tool that attaches to the back of the handle, but there is no holder for the Upholstery attachment.

The biggest flaw is that there is nothing stopping debris from going straight to the filter and clogging it up, resulting in a loss of suction pretty quickly. The Linx is designed to avoid that problem and it does a pretty good job – not perfect – but waay better than nothing at all like this product. I show this in my video. The Linx’s suction power is strong enough to suck in hairs in the general vicinity of the vacuum head. The Air Cordless has much less suction and even less so as you go due to the bad design. There are also several places for debris to hang out and hide.

They both are about the same in sound volume – but the Air Cordless sounds more guttural and clankity. Not sure how to explain the sound and I’m not sure if it comes across in my video, but I much prefer the smoother sound of the Linx.

Battery Life – they both have about the same battery life: 15-20 minutes depending on if you use the brush, but in the Linx that means 15-20 minutes dedicated to the floor. On the Air Cordless, that can be 10 minutes on the floor and 5 minutes on upholstery/crevices.

The Air Cordless stand up better on it’s own than the Linx, who wants to topple over all the time.

You can empty out the waste canister on the Linx with 1 hand. You need two hands for the Air Cordless and it can be a messy endeavor – I show this in my video.

Bottom Line – This product is more of a “Jack of all trades, Master of none”. If it wasn’t for the fact that it’s very versatile, I wouldn’t even like it. But its versatility is very nice and useful. That it’s all packaged into one unit makes it a good value. If you want something that performs better, you might have to look into purchasing separate units.

Hope this is helpful, let me know if you have any questions!
