Cordless Vacuum Handheld
Good suction and easy to clean.,
I didn’t purchase this through amazon…I bought mine at Walmart without any product research so I wasn’t sure what I was really getting.
I chose this hand vac becuase:
It’s rechargable. I can plug it in and is ready to go whenever I need it.
I can mount it on the wall out of the way.
The wide nozzle – which I found works just as well as a vacuum hose. Also, can be removed/reattached easily.
The recepticle is large and doesn’t require emptying after every use if I so choose.
Things I found after purchasing and using:
Lightweight. Comfortable to hold.
After 24 hour charge it’s recommended to let it run all the way down before recharging. It’s a month later and it’s still going strong.
The suction is really good. Not as strong as a full size vacuum hose attachement but pretty darn good.
Ease of clean up….which I really found out when I vac’d up some ramen noodles with meatball bits and peas all over the floor. It left a pretty greasy trail in the nozzle and recepticle. However, the whole thing comes apart for easy clean up and I just handwashed it and air dried. I used my bottle brush to clean the nozzle. Easy easy easy.
I did find that until I got used to the shape and where the flat end is I had to pay attention when I set it down or it would wobble over.
It is a tad loud. But compared to a full size vac I’m not complaining.
Overall, I really like this product and would recommend to a friend.

SO FAR SO GOOD,
It’s too loud for my preference, but if you want more pick-up, more noise must be the thing. (Not an engineer, and haven’t tried all dustbusters available–didn’t want to spend that much time.)
It’s easy to empty. (Make sure you are over the trashcan before pushing the button to empty it.) Be gentle on the filter and maybe you won’t have to replace it for a very long time. (I never replaced the filter on our previous dustbuster. It was at least 20 years old, maybe more.) I haven’t emptied the new one every time I used it–I don’t always have time. I don’t use it every day. Cat hair and litter dust might clog the filter and keep it from doing a good job, so empty it often.
I really didn’t want to pay $35 to replace my old one, but after reading all the reviews, this is probably the lowest I can go and still get some kind of performance.
I’ve had this buster for about a month or more. So far so good.

It’s now October 4 and it’s still doing an excellent job. Holds the charge even if I leave it laying on the floor for a couple of days.
One gripe that I have is with removing the nozzle. It is really hard to get a grip on both sides to remove it for cleaning. And reconnecting it isn’t all that easy either. But the middle part is too easy so be over the trash before pushing the disconnect button to dump the dirt.

UPDATE 8/2013 – this dustbuster is done. It doesn’t hold much of a charge anymore, maybe 15 seconds.
I stopped using it when I got a Bissell 3-in-1 stick vac. If you take the vac. part off, you have a dustbuster on a stick. 🙂
I like the Bissell better because it plugs in, which gives it more power and you don’t have to worry that it will run out of juice in the middle of a job. With a short extension cord I move around most of the house.
