New Life for My Dyson DC-31,
We got the Dyson DC31 Handheld Vacuum at the recommendation of a friend, who did a great demo and explained the merits of an extra battery. It’s really simple: the Dyson DC-31 has a swap-able battery, so when the battery that’s in the vacuum runs low on charge, you swap the run-down battery with a fresh one you grab out of the charger and–presto–you keep right on vacuuming with the Dyson DC31 until all of your vacuuming is done.
So, we purchased this extra battery with our Dyson DC31 and swapping it the way our friend described works like a charm for my wife and I. This Crucial Vacuum battery seems to last even longer than the original Dyson battery that came with the vacuum and is far cheaper that the original (and highly overpriced) replacement battery Dyson tries to sell you.
