jmjohnson117 need help to clarify doubt about: : Engine vibrations noticeable while idling or in park?
I have a ’99 Toyota Corolla and I’m the second owner. I’ve already done some minor repair work on it and preventative maintenance, and I’ve noticed that while in park or while the car idles, there is a very noticeable shaking coming from under the hood. It can be felt throughout the car, but it isn’t a violent jarring yet. Since it goes away as soon as the car starts moving, I’m guessing the mounting pads have worn down and the engine is touching the chassis somewhere. Could it be something less annoying? What else should I look for?
I’m planning on replacing the spark plugs and possibly installing new wires soon, merely as preventative maintenance. I’ve not noticed a loss in power, but a vacuum leak could always be a possibility.

tune up needed plugs or wires or fuel filter or fuel system maybe if you have replace plugs id try fuel filter and a bottle of fuel treatment coul dbe that its not idling high enough which shouldnt need adjusting any time so might be the fuel system is dirty … to check a motor mount open hood crank car put in drive hold brake give gas watch motor if it jumps they bad sorry it wouldnt be a bad mount most likey fuel or spark id say its idle speed like fuel flow or spark plugs

check the motor mounts, you might have 1 broke or a bad vacuum leak somewhere.
A simple vacuum leak could be the culprit..
It could also be one of the cylinders is misfiring…
If this was the case you would also notice a power loss though.
Hope this helps.
I doubt it’s the mounts.. That would really be noticeable upon
acceleration.
I hope this helps a bit.
