When I first used it I thought it wasn’t picking up very much as it barely touched the wood chips from my wood carving. Then I opened it to empty and saw the TON of pet hair inside that I couldn’t see in the carpet! On the second try it started picking up the wood chips with ease. Does it replace a vacuum sweeper? No, but its great for quick clean up between vacuuming…especially when someone calls to say they were just in the neighborhood…
