  1. Don’t bring a lot of books! You may love them and miss them, but they will just take up a lot of space that you don’t have.

If you live near your school, bring enough clothing to get you through fall and get your winter clothes over Thanksgiving break. If not, take it all with you. (This is obviously East coast advice. If you live in one of those more temperate areas that see the sun regularly, disregard). Also, if your laundry is not free, bring enough so that you won’t run out of clothes between washes. In this case, bring quarters.

Bring cleaning supplies like Clorox wipes and all purpose cleaner. You will need them. Trust me.

Get a pillow top mattress pad and soft extra long sheets. Going to bed will be glorious.

Also, ditto on the storage stuff. Hangers, under-bed storage, vacuum sealing bags, good stuff.

  2. am going to start college about a month too
    is it for dorm?
make sure u have shampo and conditioner, soap, toothpaste
flipflop, earplug, flash drive, extra sheets, condoms
gym clothes if u like going to the gym
    qaurters on lundery
umm, mini reading light would be usefull

  3. bring lots of hangers. bring storage for under your bed. bring a printer. bring a full length mirror. anything really valuable to you(like the necklace your dead grandma gave you.. whatever) … leave it at home. People steal. Bring the clothes you wear the most. You need comfy class clothes, and clothes to go out and party in.
