….came through the petcock fuel filter downline before when I turn it
over and have the line unplugged
The ped thing is an safety thing . It stops gas from coming out of the tank
if you crash and the motor stalls . It help so when you don’t run the bike
it turns the gas off to the carb so it doesn’t flood it . If your was
messed up you proubley could bypass it tank to carb .
@serpentza PS I find gasoline beneath the carbeurator i dont find it in
other places
thanks for the vid… my scooter doesnt have a splitter either.. is that
second line supposed to be connected to that 90degree hose coming from the
side of the carb?? i dont see anywhere else it would go.. also i have a
problem with my fuel system too.. when i go heavy throttle the gas seems to
stop flowing and then it hard starts untill i get the fuel flowing again..
its a brand new big bore , brand new carb and i dont understand why the
vacuum would stop at high throttle but work at low end.
Hey,if German wheat beer does that to a tail light lens, than what does it
do to your guts when consumed? Haha,,,just kidding Seriously,,,,good vid!
:o)
just want to say thanks for the upload. i replaced crankshaft on my 50cc,
replaced CDI and stator. was not getting gas. when i watched u mentioned
vacuum hoses. i have an external adjustable vacuum that i forgot i broke a
long time ago. runs rough due to bad gas but other than that no problems.
again thanks for the video.helped me out a lot 🙂
Can the petcock be bypassed and fit a manual valve?
Sounds like a problem with your carb, open up the bottom of the carb (the
float bowl) and make sure it’s clean, also bend the floats down a little so
that they force the needle and seat to close sooner (I’ll make a video for
you if you can’t figure it out).
being a liscensed mechanic for over 25 years ,you did a very good job of
explaining this.but always replace fuel filters, take them off and bring
them to a shop to get new.
awesome thankyou i am going to try and fix it and if i cant figure it out i
will let you know ive watched other videos about carbeurators and stuff
trying to figure out hopefully this is it

Hi my scooter is a Sym fiddle two stroke 50cc I by a new vacuum pump
because I thing my self is my problem and not, the vacuum pum not pumping
any petrol I remove the fuel line from the carburettor and I try the start
and the petrol not came any out can you please let me know way and what I
can do to fix this tks Berenguer
I actually have a question similar to what you covered in this video.
My scooter is a 150cc gy6
The scooter will not start by itself, it will crank ans crank but will not
start
But if I take off the air box hose that hooks up to the Carb and spray some
starter fluid in there then my scooter will start up no problem and after
its warm it will start up without me having to spray in starter fluid
Would you happen to know of why this is?
Or a solution for it?
