Has anyone ever returned a vacuum cleaner to the store after using it?

I’m not exactly thrilled with the vacuum I purchased, especially after finding that it does not have simple tools that would have been very low cost to include, for instance a shoulder strap for the removable vacuum and a stair-cleaning tool. Why would I not want those if I was buying a vacuum that could be removed from the wheels in the first place?

So… have any of you actually returned one? I will clean it up first but it’s still going to be used, and dirty…

  1. Heck Yeah!!! I have returned a carpet steam cleaner to wal-mart I was not happy with it so I returned it They sould not give you a problem as long as you have your reciept. I am sure you work hard for your money and deserve to have a vaccum that you like trade it in for a better one I also bought a Dyson at Target and I am sorry it was not worth the $400.00 So I returned it and bought a Hoover for like $220.00 and that was the smartest thing.

  2. The answer is no way. You should have consult the salesperson before decided to purchase one. Any new purchased item is fully exchangeable on manufacturing damage if its under manufacturing guarantee and the item is never been used, so in you situation thing happened otherwise.
