After looking at several retail stores, K-mart, Target, Wal-mart and the price was staggering for a simple filter, my son suggested I look on Amazon. I was astonished at the difference in price and bought 3 instead of 1 so I have them available when I need them.

Priced at a fraction of the cost of a genuine Hoover filter, this item outperforms and original. And it is, indeed, washable. Just a minute or so under the tap and it’s clean as a whistle. Let it air dry, reinsert into the cleaner, and you’re ready to go again. The ability to thoroughly clean the filter increases the cleaner’s suction and improves its performance. And you save money, too. So what’s not to like.

The great feature of this filter is that it is washable, so you can be sure it is clean. No dusty smell after vacuuming. Seems great so far.
