I was using a damp wash cloth and a dry wash cloth. I was worry if I use water on my consoles would that cause a chance of breaking them. I also used a vacuum and my mouth to get dust out. Please tell me a simple way to cleaning the gaming systems. Also I was wondering if most people just use a dry cloth only.
buy a bottle of compressed air, can be bought in most electronic stores, and spray the air through the cooling vents. used this on my ps2 every year and it still works fine 9 years later

Use a dry cloth. If you can’t remove something, then dip a small section of the cloth in water and rinse it, then wipe the console with it. Then wipe it dry.
For the inside, just use one of those compressed air in a can.
