How do you prevent lint/get rid of it from a room?

My carpeted room has become absolutely FULL of lint! My clothes are always full of it and it’s horrible. I keep things clean (vacuum my carpet, clean my sheets, etc) but it won’t go away.
Any tips would be so appreciated!
