Pretty good vacuum cleaner for a budget priced Miele,
I have had mine for over a year now and it is holding up really well. I petsit for a living and board dogs at my house so you can imagine the amount of dog hair and dirt that is tracked in, but this Miele can handle it without any problems. The Olympus features a variable suction control that also allows me to decrease the noise level for dogs that are leary of the “loud monster that howls like a hurricane wind”. Cleaning hard wood floors with no rugs and vacuuming between couch cushions for dog hair, pieces of dog biscuits, etc. is all I really ask of the Olympus.
I really have not had any problems with the vacuum cleaner except the bags. The version I got when I purchased the Olympus were stitched on the sides that only allowed the bag to be filled 2/3 full. And I had 6 of those defective bags. Ones that I purchased recently have been perfect and allow full capacity. I wish the extension cord was longer, but other than that it always retracts. The Olympus is a pretty basic model and my motto like it is with cars is “the simpler it is, the less that can go wrong”. Even though this is the low-end model for Miele, the $300 price tag may frighten some when compared to the Hoovers and Dirt Devils of the world. One should take in consideration the excellent reputation of Miele’s products over time against the price.

|Miele a Fantastic Product,
I did A LOT of research and finally decided on this vacuum and I’m so happy with it. It’s not loud like the others I looked at, it has many suction options, works fantastic on wood floors, tile and large area rugs. Another great thing is that it is light only 13lbs, easy to maneuver and it cleans SO WELL, you will not be disappointed with this vacuum.
Miele is a German company that has been tried and true.

What’s to say, they’re vacuum bags. They’re easy to attach and detach and work well. They are, however, quite expensive. C’mon Miele!

If Miele in and of itself wasn’t enough, these amazing bags are perfect gilding for the lily. Allowing maximum airflow for peak suction and designed to reduce all airborne dust, dust mites and allergins these bags are highly recommended. Easy to change, very durable and well priced, nothing but the best for my White Pearl.

They fit perfectly, contain and control everything the Miele machine vacuums, and slide closed at the neck to make sure the dust and dirt remain enclosed when you remove them from the machine.
