James Dyson has been dining out on his marketing based bagless idea (and his silly ball wheel) for too long. People are catching on that it’s actually ridiculous. When you empty it the crud goes everywhere and you still have a HEPA filter that reduces suction over time which was the whole idea of bagless.
In the end it’s cheap plastic rubbish that breaks too easy and the so called engineering is simply marketing department nonsense. Plus he sold out and manufactures abroad.
Oreck is a piece of junk. Don’t believe all the silly commercials. I have used it, it is a crappy vacuum. I don’t care if it’s ligh or not. Get yourself a $100 Hoover, you will thank me for it. Don’t pay $300 for this piece of crap.

I hope they are smart enough to keep this comment. Oreck just doesn’t want to move on. They want to use bags and lose suction and rip off thousands of people.

Ok at 2:45 it shows how particles coat the side of the bag. This makes it so that no air can get out after a short amount of time. If no air can get out no air or dirt can get in. So they show you that after a couple minutes you lose all of our power.

I love the classic Orecks. I ALWAYS know when someone is using one because the motors are all the same! It’s a little loud, but it has a better feel to it compared to other new vacuums. But Oreck updates their product line so often you can almost never have a current model!
What ever happened to the good old oreck 4000? I still use mine and it works great!
