Mine was new, not reconditioned, in original packaging and the seller extremely responsive to my pre sales questions.
As for the product, I cannot comment on the warranty. You’d have to ask,but this was not a concern for me.
I like this unit. It was recommended to me by a coworker who purchased a used one from a rep at a higher cost than I paid for this new item. The scent works well and I use essential oils which would probably void a warranty anyway. It is a little louder than I anticipated. It sounds like my dishwasher. After I got used to that I don’t mind it at all.
It really cannot be considered a humidifier, but anyone who is familiar with what this product does probably already understands that.
