It gets the job done. I notice a great power increase when the vehicle is running as opposed just using the battery in the vehicle without the engine running. the quality is good, well built. It comes with attatchments especially the one i needed most the brush….Thumbs up.

A Very Decent Vacuum to Leave in the Car, June 25, 2010

Everything about this vacuum is good: The lightness/portability, power/suction, the included extra accessories/tips…

…EXCEPT that the only power source is via the car charger chord.
It does not have an internal power/battery system, so if you want to use this, you have to plug it to the car, and if you want to use it at home, then you need a car charger to house plug adapter, which is harder to find than the other way around.

So get this if you want a portable vacuum you can just leave in the car.
Also, since the chord is 15 feet long, you need to plan your maneuvers if you want to vacuum the trunk, etc.
Some new cars have a car outlet in the trunk, but most do not.
My car has one so it doesn’t really affect me, but this vacuum gets one star knocked off for not having an internal power system.
Still, at only 2 “Hamiltons,” it can afford to be in its own little niche.
