My aunt gave me and mum this vacume now i use it and i have to say i used to sell kirby vacumes but this is probably one of the best built vacume i ever seen and actually really cleans the carpet really well also havent seen many of them seem kinda rare now.

Both are great! The 8955 is a better cleaner in my opinion.
Bought my 8955 3 years ago. Never got a 15 ft attachment with my purchase. Just had to replace power cord due to a broke wire in the cord. A huge blue spark sprouted, thank god my hand wasnt over the cord at the time burned right through cord. The break in cord came about where you fit it at the top and wrap, wires will wear over time and break. Cleans good though.
Yes, Riccar makes an amazing machine. We always give the 15ft hose to our customers, but Riccar can’t be sold online, so you would have to negotiate that at the time of purchase with your local vacuum store. Riccar does have a great dealer network by excellent vacuum stores through America!
