I have been asking a couple of questions about how to get a better handle on my 6yr old adopted Border Collie and her annual "blowing" the winter coat.
I have gone through all the known remedies including health checks, constant in home grooming, checking diet and supplements…THE WORKS!
Yet , still the fur still LOL! Now Dog hair in my coffee is where I decided to wage war, no matter what the cost!! 🙂
I will stop at no lengths to help my sweet dog out (AS WELL AS SAVE MY REMAINING VACUUM CLEANER!)
I recently purchased a Bear-Power force dryer, which is superb for the price! (2 hp, 30,000 fmp (not sure what fpm is!))
The only drawback is the super loud noise it makes. It is 10 times louder than my super Simplicity house vac (0 dollars worth and it still refuses to make my morning coffee!! LOL) My BC relates it to a vacuum and is both scared of the noise (she loves the blowing air though)
I will stop at no lengths to keep my BC healthy and happy!
CHECK THIS OUT!!!

I recently bought one of these! Yikes, is it outrageous, and my Border collie HATES baths!!!
No, it does not cure her hatred, but once secured inside, she has to grin and bear it LOL. The thing has shower heads from all directions and comes with a shelf for smaller dogs! FANTASTIC and she gets to stay at home, instead of being away and suffering from separation fears!
I made the mistake of taking it out to the front of my home in the driveway, to give her her first Professional bath! (I refuse to use any of the groomers around here, since I have heard so many horror stories about how they treat their charges!!! 🙂
Besides at USD per session, it will not take long to recoup my purchase dollars! I now have my neighbors ringing my door bell asking if they can bring their own dogs over for a wash!!! I want to ask the manufacturer if they can build it in A COIN OPERATED VERSION! LOL, like a self service car wash!
The thing is so well designed and sturdy that I am awe stricken! They thought of everything!
Now if I could only find a quieter force dryer that will not break the bank!! LOL
Serious answers only please!
Thank you Both! The little Force Dog Dryer has much more power than even my powerfil shop vac, so I guess I will keep it! I can always use it to dry off my auto!! LOL!
As for draining that "SPA THING" It already has a built in Floor drain that is always active so as not to allow the dog to sit or stand in a tub fill of water! Rather the pooch is always subjected to constantly refreshed water and each set of spray heads has adjustable force and direction! Truly the immaculate contraption!!! I simply love that huge dog he uses in his illustration, so ugly but yet so cute..LOL
Interesting, I have tried Electrolux (They are not the electrolux of OLD!), Sebo , Meile, and Oreck, . The last Vacuum "killing" was a rather old Dyson D17 I believe)
My BC is so sweet, it is hard to imagine that she is a Vacuum machine killer in real life LOL! I have mentioned in earlier posts that for some strange, obscure reason, Dogs have placed vacuum machines and Mailmen (Postmen) In the same category " The Dog’s MORTAL enemy"! LOL
I was actually referring to the new bear power Force groomer BLOWER. This is a petite, professional Groomer type of blower that will literally blow some of the dead undercoat away after a GOOD bath in the before mentioned Doggie Wash and Spa! I spent 0 USD on a top of the lfne American made Simplicity Upright Vac, and it simply puts all the others including Sebo and Meile Upright model! I am a bachelor male and actually had trouble wrestling the Meile model Around! While powerful, it was unwieldy and was burdensome to deal with on carpeted floor
