Novagirl need help to clarify doubt about: : What are some tips to help me find a rug which doesn’t shed?
I want to get a new wool rug but I don’t want to end up with one that sheds forever and ever. Are there any tips of what to look for or avoid? Any brands that you recommend or tips in general?
Thanks.

Nylon is the best carpet fiber…doesn’t stain easily & wears well.

If it doesn’t have to be wool, silk is a fine alternative that doesn’t shed. Your other choice is to use a heavy duty vacuum, even a wet dry vac will work, and vacuum daily for a couple of weeks or have it dry cleaned with suction when you first get it to avoid shedding. Older rugs are a good choice as well, they are usually done shedding once they have had a 2-5 year life. You pay less for them as well, they have been cleaned and usually stain protected and still have decades of life left on them.
