    At the price of these filters there’s no reason to wait to replace a dirty filter. I use my vac to clean my pellet stove every week. After a year, the filter was really clogged. Replacing the filter made the next cleanup seem like I was using a new vac.

    What can you say about a filter? It does the job well. Wish it was washable and reusable, but who really cares for 5 bucks right? It is true you shouldn’t wash it, as water will start to tear down the filter, however I found that If I rinsed it with a hose and let it air dry, I could get a few more good uses out of it. I use it until its filthy, then shake it out, after a few times doing that, I hose it off and reuse it. This seems to maximize the usefulness of the filter. If they sold a washable/rinse-able filter for 10-15 bucks, I would be on board for that.

    These bags protect your shop-vac motor and the washable filter from becoming imbedded with dust and fine dirt. They fit Stanley shop-vacs and are hard to find at stores at a reasonable price.
