The Shark vacuum cleaner is an efficient dirt-hunting machine. Not only is this sleek vacuum stylish, but it’s also flexible and can act as three vacuums in one — an upright vacuum, a canister model and a lift-away pod useful for portable cleaning.
The dust cup for this Shark vacuum holds a lot of dirt with it’s extra large capacity. Using this cleaner can also cut down on the amount of sneezing in your house as it makes use of Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology, which allows the NV500 to seal out nearly 100 percent of dust and other various allergens inside

Vacuum Accessories Carpet
My friend pronounced it as good as her Dyson,
I had a friend — a dedicated Dyson owner–come help me clean today, and she tried out every attachment and variation of conifgurations on this model. I used it yesterday and was impressed. My friend pronounced it as good as her Dyson, with a few advantages, even, and she is a vacuum cleaner connoisseur. Though it’s a refurb, it looked entirely new out of the box. And though it is heavier than my old Oreck, for all intents and purposes it’s self-propelled, so my bad back didn’t complain. I liked that the Oreck was lightweight and cleaned carpets well, but I was tired of having to take it apart to unclog it and of having to change belts. Clearly, this Shark (and Dyson) represent a new generation of vacuum cleaner technology, intended for use by real people in real houses, not maids in hotel rooms. And the best part? I got it when it was a deal of the day, for $109. I’d missed it on Woot for $99, but since I’m on Prime, shipping was free, so it evened out. If anything changes, I can always amend this review, but for now, I’ll say that this is the best practical purchase I’ve made in years.

Quiet power and performance,
This being a refurbished unit, I expected some evidence of prior use, but it was minimal. The packing was adequate, but very obvious not as it would have been from factory. The wheels on the canister base showed heavy use and it did not look to have been cleaned at all. Aside from that, everything else was perfect. I took everything apart, inspected from every angle and could not find any sign of use. The smell was just as a new one would smell. I am very happy with this unit.
The pet brush far exceeded my most optimistic hopes. This thing works! We have cat hair on a sofa that seemed impossible to remove, despite our best attempt so you can imagine my joy at seeing this cleaner remove every single hair in sight on the first pass. I am truly impressed.
Aside from the heft of the unit, this is as close to perfection as I can imaging. It may be more difficult to handle than I had hoped, but the superior performance and the fact than I can use it without having to raise the tv volume makes it a winner for me.

Great Vacuum so far,
Took a chance on the Shark and have been very impressed thus far. My carpets actually seem to be getting cleaner as the weeks go by. Never seen that before. Will update after long term use.
