    Almost forgot I had bought this after Hurricane Irene. It has come in handy over the past year in drying out our basement after flooding. The price was right and the blower was strong enough to ‘bend’ around corners between the basement wall and wall paneling (we didn’t have an opening on one side). We also used to dry out torn out wall to wall carpet. This will be used in the future to dry paint, future flood repairs and other projects with fast drying needs. Only reason it doesn’t get five stars is because it’s an energy hog.

    had a toilet overflow.drenched ceiling below toilet, aimed blower at wet dry walled ceiling. dryed it out before any damage other than staining,also wetted hard wood floor, fan dryed it out pronto, very minimal damage, hard to find a big selection of fans at the big hardware superstores. very pleased with my purchase

    This is the first time I have bought an item like this, but I have to say it is one of the best purchases ever! This thing really moves the air. At 3450CFM’s it’s not the biggest volume of air movement out there, but it sure does a great job of drying the floor. The only thing I dislike about it (and it is just a very small issue) is that it does not flow the air directly onto the floor. Instead it blows the air about an inch off of the ground. I have found that propping the back of it up allows it to blow directly onto the floor which drys it much faster than the inch elevation of flow provided. All in all, it is a very nice unit!
