It is Very big! Thats what I was looking for. Seems to be mad of a nice quality fabric. I’m not sure about dragging it on the ground behind the tractor as the instructions suggests, just doesn’t seem like it (or any other fabric product) would last long that way. It will get very heavy when full! especially if used for grass clippings. I’ve been using mine while towing a small yard trailer. It is twice as long as the little trailer so I extended the trailer with a piece of plywood but it still hangs over. I was looking for a big grass and leaf catcher bag and this is it.

I have a two and one half FULLY wooded acres to whistle while I work to bag up all these oak and poplar leaves. This time of year I am nostalgic for the music of Roger Williams. The Autumn leaves drift by my window, the autumn leaves of red and gold. Now that you have fallen my wife wont leave me alone until you are gone.

I am impressed with the speed that Amazon sent this order to the vendor, I am equally impressed with the speed in which it was shipped. I placed my order just before lunch and after an extended lunch period when I returned I was greeted with the message that it had been shipped. It was sent by the US Postal Service (AKA snail mail). The Pony Express riders must have made all their connections because I received this in two days from placing my order. Way to go guys.

The material on this somewhat resembles an oversize pillowcase with two draw strings in the open end and reminds me of the old fashioned double knit polyester. The color is a blue / grey tweed that is porous enough to let the air out, thick enough to hold the leaves, Before I bought this I could not get a grasp on how much it will hold, so I laid it out flat on my driveway. It measures a total of 93 inches in length and 53 inches in width. It does NOT have an opening in the bottom of the bag therefore you must remove the bag from the mower to empty it. It is simple enough to mount on the mower. Just remove the buckets, place the open end of the leaf bag over the discharge hood and snug up the double draw strings. The draw strings have plastic keepers but there is enough cord to safety tie it.

I am an old person and quickly found out that the bag can hold more leaves than I care to wrestle with. It is easier for me to let the bag get half full before I unload it. Sure beats the heck out of those waste basket sized containers. So simple a caveman can do it.

I get the impression that this vendor is a cottage industry and my hat goes off to them for creativity and the American entrepreneurial spirit.
