Great mount with one possible drawback, depending upon your use,
The mount has a holder which has two collapsible prongs on the bottom to support the phone (when in portrait mode), as well as two foam grips on the sides to grip the phone. It can hold a phone ranging in width from 2.0 to 3.1 inches. I tested it with both an iPhone 5S and iPhone 6, and had no issues with the Grip Pro holding the phones when bare and with thick cases.
The Grip Pro has a rotatable arm for different heights, as well as a ball rotating motion for the clip to provide different viewing angles.
Note: when attaching the actual phone holder to the mount, make sure it slides into place and locks in – I found if it wasn’t locked in, the phone holder could fall off the mount.
I saw the foam grips on the sides as having both positives and negatives. The plus is that the adjustable mechanism is great. There’s a small button on the side which when pressed will push out the grips to accommodate a larger phone. If you press it multiple times, rather than holding it, it will go out in increments so that you can find the right size for your phone. After placing your phone in the grip, you can push the two foam sides together to securely hold your phone. Pressing that button again will allow you to remove the phone easily and without much effort. The drawback I see to this design, as with a lot of car mounts with side grips like this, is that the sides of the screen of the phone are difficult to access while it is in the mount, because the foam sides come in the way. This might pose an issue for you if you are trying to use your phone while in the car.
The suction mount functions very well, and the best part about it is that it is reusable. I purposely tested dirtying it and then rinsing it with warm water to see if it would hold up, and it indeed did. After a rinse, the suction mount looked brand new. Since it is sticky, it does a very good job of keeping the mount in place both on my dashboard as well as on my windshield. Not once did I experience it dropping or falling off, even on the bumpiest of roads.
Overall, the Grip Pro works great as a universal car mount for smartphones with a great range of adjustable angles for proper viewing as well as excellent suction. Although I found fault in the foam sides obstructing the screen slightly, I find this to be the case with any mount, and since Mpow did a great job of making it functional with the side button, I still give it 5 stars.

I use this in our Toyota Tundra (’04). It fits beautifully and is much better than the other car mount we had.
Pros:
– Easy to install.
– Strong suction will last a long, long time.
– Fits my iPhone 5S beautifully. I could see this fitting the iPhone 6 as well (i.e. there’s room for it to fit).
– I can put the phone on the holder with one hand, no problem.
– Excellent price on Amazon.
– When removing it, it left no residue. (see video)
Cons:
– Very unpleasant when removing it from your forehead.
Hints:
– If you remove it, simply wash the suction cup off with water and it’ll be as good as new.
– I would not suggest transferring this from vehicle to vehicle. It’s designed to be stuck on the windshield or dashboard.
– Clean the surface thoroughly before sticking it on. Even if it looks clean, the glass is not!
5/5 stars. Excellent little gadget that will get the phone out of your hands when driving. (I think car insurance companies should give these away for free to encourage their drivers not to text while driving)
