FoodSaver V3817 Vertical Food Sealer,
My best guess on all the model numbers for FoodSaver products looks like it breaks down to this, the Vxx tells you the body style and gives you an idea of counter top foot print it will take up. Then the last two digits tells you if and what accessories comes in the box. For instance this model V38(17) is the base model. It comes with two rolls of bagging material and two wine style bottle seals.
Since this 17 number is ODD I guess that denotes it’s color is Red instead of Black or White whose numbers would be V3815 and V3820. Increasing up the line V3840, V3860, V3880 these models would come packaged with (for instance) a jar sealer gadget, or a canister/lid container and a few more bags. That should help you narrow down youtube product reviews. You just need to read the whats in the box description on the item page of the model that your considering.
For a model V4880 since that housing is bigger it might house two vacuum motors instead of just one. I believe they use a standard size motor across all their lines with the higher last two digits indicating dual motors in some of their larger sized housing. This I did not confirm with the FoodSaver company, only by viewing many many YT videos. This info maybe useful to choosing yours.
