    I drilled four holes into the base and screwed it onto a plastic dry cereal container (as a trash receptacle with 18″ bags) and secured it with bungie cords to the floor console. This keeps it out of the sun and out of view when parked. The clamp holds a Motorola Droid Maxx but barely opens wide enough to hold a Samsung Galaxy 4 in an Otter case. There is a clear plastic cover to hold a wallet photo in view when the phone is removed. The clamp can rotates and clicks 90 degrees for landscape or portrait. With a second holder, I can use one phone as a phone and GPS navigator and the spare (obsolete) phone as a engine OBD scanner and rear view camera monitor.

    This stand is well made, adjusts large enough to hold my galaxy note 3, highly adjustable stand for optimal viewing. The suction cup is strong and doesnt slip. I like the fact you can add a picture for when you dont have your phone in it. Shipping from this company was faster than anticipated and I will be ordering another one of these for my husband.
