    Took a chance and bought this attachment even though I have wall to wall carpeting. My Miele came with the turbo floor brush, which was OK, however I notice the whole turbo brush thing reduced the suction even when it was on Max Setting. I thought I would try just a plain classic rug/floor attachment, and I like it better than the turbo attachment, and no treads getting all caught up in the spinning turbo brush. It is good for low pile carpet, and just a bit a struggle with very high, thick carpet, but I still like it’s performance better than the turbo brush. I have tried the no name turbo brush, which works fine, however, the little plastic piece that clicks into the cannister body for storage is a poor fit, and soon looses it’s ability to hang on to the grooves on the cannister body.
