This carpet shampoo is concentrated so you don’t need as much of it. Check the Bissell website to find out how much you actually need for your shampooer. With too much shampoo I find the carpet sticky and a bigger mess than when I started.

It is recommended that you treat the spots before your shampoo the carpet. I just used a little of the shampoo mixed with water in a spray bottle and the spots came up really easily. Then I shampooed the carpet. My floor looks nicer than when I moved into my apartment and before the six cats.

This shampoo works great, even on spots that were not from the cats like food spills. I also love the fragrance. It’s nice and light as opposed to other brands that tend to mask odors with an overwhelming floral smell.

I recommend this to anyone that needs to shampoo their carpet, with or without pets. This cost so much less than having someone come in and clean and is so much easier. This also works great as a spot treatment. Well worth your time and money.

My 16 year old dog has accidents around the house fairly often even with a diaper on. He’s so old that he doesn’t realize he’s peeing sometimes. No other product as worked as well on my carpets so this is the only cleaning product I use. I would recommend the Bissell spotbot and the pet stain formula to any dog owner.
