My vacuum cleaner power cord plug clip wont clip on like it should for storage because after I reel it up the cord hangers interfere with the clip on the plug. I found that if you tie a simple knot in the cord it corrects the problem. I tied the knot where the cord comes out of the vacuum, but a simple knot anywhere on the cord will shorten it just enough so you can use the plug clip to attach the plug to the cord for storage.
