hi Tim .. whats the most powerful battery / wall Mount portable wet dry vacuum ?
how many gallons is that maserati?
Like the Maserati comparison, exquisite taste you have Tim! 🙂
you spelled “no” wrong. i think its just because he uses different camera angles and edited the video.
I was not paid a cent to tape any of my videos by the people who make the products in the videos. That is a fact.
well i have know reason not to trust your word. If you say your not payed then i guess i was wrong.
You are wrong. I am not a paid spokesperson. It is part of my job to test and review products. I simply report the facts and features in the videos. You do NOT see me trying to sell these to you as you would in an infomercial or a true commercial. That would ruin my journalistic credibility.
these guys r sponsoring you aren’t they. I would like it see some not so bias reviews.
The Bosch is inferior to both the Festool and Fein (two very powerful, very quiet vacuums). And all Ridgid vacs have come with locking hoses for the last 3 years.
Festo had this tech 20 years ago.
Comments are cool so long as people are polite. Indeed I am alive…..
Holy crap your alive, Lol most people just post videos and never comment, I love you timmy
We try to have some fun. I think it puts a smile on people who realize I am not an actor nor want to be. Just a kid who has never grown up.
tim your skillz amaze me
your a tru natural in front of the camera
semms all of your vids entertain me yet inform me as well how do u do it lol
your awesome builder guy keep up the goodwork!!!!
You should not feel guilty. YouTube is an amazing resource. Can you imagine what it is going to be like in a few years when there are tens of thousands of videos where many share their accumulated knowledge. I just watched one on fly fishing that was fantastic. Good Luck in your new business.
Tim..can’t please everyone. But there are many you do. I feel shameful about being able to watch these videos for free. I am learning a education for the next business I am starting.. for free!! Although I do plan on getting some of your dvd’s <free plug 🙂
Great ideas! I’ll put it on the list of upcoming videos to do.
ok here are some ideas….
– show it in use
– show e.g. a sander in use with / without a vacuum
– explain the risks e.g. why buy one
– show how it helps you see the work better
– explain why the gas50 is costs nearly twice that of the gas25 … (the bosch website sure does a bad job of telling us!)
– can you suck up spilt oil? detergent?
– do i always need to use the bag? with wet stuff, doesnt it just go soggy?
etc.. just the usual ask the builder voice of experience..
Yes, its not the most exciting subject, & i know its easy to be a back seat critic. i really appreciate that u take pride in your work enough to care and have this discussion, not many do these days.
For general approach I’d say that “heres something general about vacuums and heres an example of a vacuum, let me show you what the features do” feels much more comfortable that “heres all the great features on this vacuum” — just about tone.
(character limit, ideas follow)…
I see your point, but imagine writing the script for a wet-dry vacuum. They suck up dirt. What more can you say? Sure, mention horsepower or column/inches of water it can pull, but that would take up about ten seconds. What do you say the other 80-90 seconds? I think a good exercise for you might be to write your own script and do a video using your vacuum. Let’s see how yours turns out. 🙂
I just dont think it was telling us anything useful about how to choose a product – it was just showing off the features of that particular product. dont get me wrong, i think that on the whole your vids are great and really helpful. Just dont think this was up to your usual standard.
Oh, and I have nothing against Bosch, I own a Bosch GAS25 vacuum anyway.
I beg your pardon! How am I supposed to show new products and tell you about them? Just spray paint them all black? I don’t get paid by the companies to show the products. Please ask about these things before you make harmful and corrosive comments like you did.
just a commercial – ask the builders gone down the tubes
Pretty good!
