  1. The right sealer will depend on the condition of your concrete (and could be relative to the glue and vct you are using) But for simplicity sake…lets use generic info. most manufacturers all agree…all concrete slabs must be: dry. clean and structurally sound. free of depressions, scale or foreign deposits of any kind. your slab may not even NEED to be sealed. if the slab is considered as “dusty” or if it has a dusty residue after being properly cleaned..you will then need to seal…IF you need to seal then I would suggest using armstrongs S-185 if you are unsure of which manufacturer made your tile and adhesive. **note that if your concrete is “dusty” it could likely be an alkali problem and you should also do a Ph test. I also recommend a bond test before you determine if your floor actually NEEDS a sealer. For info on both of these procedures you can read pages 55-60 of this document. http://www.armstrong.com/common/c2002/content/files/15936.pdf
If you want the simple and not complicated version you can go ahead and use S-185 but remember everything you apply to this concrete has “potential” to create a bonding problem!
    Good Luck!!
