  1. This website has vacuums for under $100. Take your time researching and reading reviews. I personally recommend the Hoover EmPower because it has HEPA filtration. Great for my friends’ allergies when they come by.

Did you know that HEPA filtration takes out 99.97% of particles that are 0.3 microns (that’s like 1/100th of a human hair) or larger?

  2. I have found that the Hoover self propelled upright is the fastest to do a thorough job. Look for one that has a wide and sturdy brush. If you have pet hair, the vacuums that have rotating brushes in the attachments are really useful. I also like the kind that have disposable bags, since the so called bagless ones tend to have filters that get clogged by very fine dust that is difficult to remove or expensive to replace. Find a model that has easy to find filter bags.

  3. Dyson makes the best, but are rather expensive..

I have always had good luck with Sears Kenmore (made by Electrolux, or Dyson))

  4. You should buy the Shark online…I got the shark vacuum and they gave me a Shark steamer for free. Shark is really good, you should also check out Oreck…they’re awesome too.
