mb20and151 need help to clarify doubt about: : Please give me your best tips on getting organized and staying organized and clean!?
I’m a college student about to start the hospital portion of my nursing school. Classes start the second week in May. My goal is to have the room I rent totally clean and organized by that time. The difficult part is not so much cleaning up – I am not a pack rat and have little trouble tossing things. The hard part for me is keeping it clean during the week with my schedule (not just clutter clean, but also actual washing/scrubbing clean). Your tips are greatly appreciated!

Get the wipes that you can use to tidy up the bathroom…. keeps the toilet and sink area nice and clean….
Never go out of or into a room without taking something with you that needs to go….
Also, there are wipes or swiffer dusters that you can use for quick touchups around the house…. even wipes for the glass, mirrors, and tv screen.
Make time for cleaning in bursts…. like setting the timer for 10 minutes and clean like mad til the timer goes off…. you’ll be amazed at what all you can get done in ten minutes. Then, if you have time and energy, set it for 10 minutes more!
Do this stuff every day…. even if you only have ten minutes each day, things will stay manageable.

The timer is a great idea! You will get so much more done than you think you can.Even if you only do one room a day with the 10 minutes you will probably get it all done.

Do something every day. A quick vacuum or bathroom clean doesn’t take but a minute if you keep it up every day. Dust routinely with swiffers. If you keep it up, there is no one day devoted to cleaning. I have a huge home and do this with each of my rooms daily. There is no other way.
