Melinda need help to clarify doubt about: : what is the best vacuum for dog fur?
My dogs shed everywhere and i want a vacuum that can clean all the fur. I have the regular vacuums but the fur doesn’t get sucked up by the vacuum. Is there a specific kind of vacuum that would help do the job? Can you provide me the link to where i can buy this? Can you give me some options such as cord and cordless.

I have 4 indoor dogs currently…two shed terribly! I have an oreck..it is the BEST. it is a simple vacuum but it is fabulous. I’ll try to find the model and post it.
ADD: I couldn’t find the actual vacuum..mine is a little older (about 3 yrs) but it is an upright and uses bags…it’s awesome!

I happen to like my Sebo for getting the Husky hair out of the carpet. With 4 in different stages of blowing undercoat, I was getting a bag full every day. So, I’d “rake” first. My previous Eureka would get clogged up before it hit the bag. My hand helds, cord or cordless, barely made a dent as did my cordless shop vac. Cordless never seemed to hold the juice long enough.
hate to say it since it comes with a price tag but my dyson sucks anything up – including the dog hair. I think there’s also a one specifically for pet hat – go figure. I remember seeing it when I was looking for one – just got a normal one though.
Dyson. Never Oreck, they get clogged too easily.
Dyson anything. Don’t waste the extra money on the Dyson Animal, you’re paying an extra 1-2 hundred bucks for one attachment and nothing else different. You can buy said attachment online and probably save money.
From personal experience Dyson vacuums are wonderful.
Dyson Ball is great. It picks up just about everything. Don’t buy something that is made just for dog hair. It is usually just a gimmick, and it doesn’t work.
Dyson is pretty expensive because it is pretty much the best vaccum. If you can’t afford a Dyson, get an Oreck.
