   The limited surface area on this type of filter means it gets clogged with dust quickly. The restricted air flow leads to a dramatic loss of suction power, so I clean my filter often. But after washing my stock filter several times, it’s just about to fall apart. I bought this 3-pack to replace the old filter in my Shark model SV75; that’s the green 15.6 volt hand held vacuum with the roller brush head attachment. It is a perfect fit in terms of shape and size; and IMO way better than the original cheap white plastic filter that came with my vacuum. The filter element feels like it’s made of slightly thicker and sturdier material. And the soft rubberized edges make perfect air-tight seal against the dust cup and the air intake of the motor. The stock filter doesn’t have rubberized edges thus leaks air, a lot. I’ve noticed a dramatic increase in suction power since switching to the new filter. Why does Shark ship their vacuums with the cheap white filter instead of this one is a great big mystery. This item sells for $10 each at Shark’s own website. So a 3-pack of these for a little over $10 makes a great deal. I highly recommend it.
