Most girls like me like to clean everyday and see cleaning as a normal everyday thing that you always do and most girls feel good and enjoy cleaning and many look forward to it.
it just depends on how you are raised. it depends on how your mom and dad treat cleaning and chores and you learn from them. so if most young girls grow up witnessing their mom and dad enjoy cleaning then the kids grow up to want to clean and like to clean b/c the parents never talked badly about not wanting to clean. many girls see thier mom taking care of the house more if they come from a beautiful home and many love to keep their beautful home clean b/c they see thier home as a beautful diamond and want it to sparkle and shine and they have respect for taking care of the cleaning
The reason girls like to clean more then guys is because girls learn that cleaning is an everyday thing. most guys have moms that clean up after them and they become lazy when they get older b/c they never have to clean b/c the mom always does it anyway when they were young. so its very important to teach guys to want to clean and to enjoy it so when they grow up they will clean and help their girl.
a few of my cleaning rules are simple, vacuum everyday, dust once a week, clean bathrooms once a week, always put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher after your eating your last bite, I also keep everything very organized.
you must learn to like and want to clean~!
my boyfriend is very helpful with cleaning but I like most girls like to clean more often.
I know many, many girls that are slobs.
I on the other hand love to clean, but that’s just me. I don’t believe it has to do with gender, but more with personal preference. If you are ok with living in a dirty environment, chances are you aren’t going to clean.
this is not a question.
i hate cleaning, but i like a clean house. i try.
From personal experience I don’t think it really is a gender thing…I enjoy cleaning but I have also been "brainwashed" by my very neat freak husband – after 15 yrs I mean that kindly….he is boarder line ocd about cleaning and it has really rubbed off….before that I was clean but not very organized, etc. And this too is opposite what your saying…his mother is filthy, disgusting filthy….dog poo on the floor filthy….he evidently learned the opposite lessons by watching her and vowed to never live like that when he was grown up. Now watching my kids grow up I see them both break stereotypes….my son likes a neat clean room and is very helpful – my daughter – well she is just a tornado looking for a landing spot!
some girls like to clean because their parents have probably never taken the time to teach their girls things that would require more brainpower.
Like you said, I think it is partly because it is passed down mother to daughter.
But also, it’s human nature. Before humans formed cities, and way before that, the female usually stayed with the children doing the house work while the male went to hunt. The male body is better designed to hunt than a woman’s, and women can’t hunt at all really when they’re pregnant, so it’s logical that it turned into a bit of an instinct.
Vacuum every day? Are you kidding? I can think of a lot more interesting things to do than that. Cleaning is like what I heard a guy say once about cooking–he said he didn’t really enjoy cooking but he did like to eat, so he cooked. I clean when things start looking dirty. I don’t really enjoy cleaning but when I get around to it I do it very thoroughly. I think most women are more detail oriented than most men so we’re more likely to notice when things aren’t clean.
